Props to Motortrend for slamming back at Limbaugh
After he slammed them for naming the Chevy Volt Motortrend Car of the Year for 2011.

12. My comment is waiting for moderation
so here it is just in case it doesn't make the grade:

Excellent response to Rush Limbaugh’s anti-American bloviations. I see that the dittoheads have shown up in droves to demonstrate their ignorance in general and hatred of all things requiring more than a sound bite’s worth of “logic” and “rational thinking”. Keep smacking the fanboi’s down. Personally, I think it’s AWESOME that an American car company is stepping up and pushing the envelope even while the enemies of progress at home seek to turn us into a 3rd world nation. Here’s hoping that more American companies finally look past the oil drum and seek cutting-edge technology. Otherwise, America will be left purchasing intellectual property of other nations that could’ve and should’ve been developed here.
Thanks to GM for helping keep the US out of the right-wing Dark Age that threatens to descend on what was once a world leader in technological innovation.

17. if that is true, it would explain why he is so angry at so many things
since the majority of the world isn't designed with persons of his girth in mind.

7. That was beautiful.
"Thanks to the recently unbridled ability of American and foreign big business to contribute unhindered to their favorite politicians – both Democratic and Republican — you don’t need to worry about rampant left-wing policy coming out of Washington any time soon."

Ain't that the truth.

He is fricking brilliant...without morals but brilliant. He gets rich telling morons their opinion. He's fricking loaded because of it.

Now if you said "Rush is a big fat asshole." or "Rush is a souless monster.", I would not disagree.

I do not think the Volt should be car of the year. I think the car that runs over Rush Limbaugh should be car of the year, car of the century.

14. Bravo
This is another of your distortions, Rush, repeated by the otherwise more level-headed George Will in The Washington Post last Sunday. The $7,500 Obama tax credit is an expansion of President Bush’s hybrid credits from the last decade. The Obama tax credit extends to the new Nissan Leaf, too, but if you or Will slammed that car, I’ve not heard or read it. I’d be surprised if you did, though, as Nissan is building the Leaf in a non-union factory in a right-to-work state represented by two Republican senators. A factory located there because Tennessee offered Nissan big tax credits. Maybe you’re worried that if the $7,500 tax credit works, too many people will buy the Volt, and that could reduce the need for oil drilling tax credits?

15. That deserves a Pulitzer!

I was at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show (as I am almost every year) and I have been a fan of this vehicle ever since.

The fact that the author slammed that idiot and defended the vehicle I really like all at the same time was a "perfect storm" for me.

Loved It!!!
