To have to force people to literally be seen nude.
-To have to put up with the complaints and possibly even threats.
-If a parent does not want their child scanned, your job will force you to virtually molest the child.
-You have to deal with the handful of co-workers that actually get off on the process.
-Then, because of the massive publicity, you'll have to deal with pranksters who ultimately slow the line down.

I do not envy them. Maybe it should be the policy, and perhaps the handful of jerks that may face prosecution for gross and aggravated misconduct, rather than the unfortunate folks who want to keep their jobs that we should be averse to.

Just thought maybe I could inject a little humanity here. DU can still show some compassion after all.

2. Back in 1973 when a friend of mine was asked to re-enlist.
He told the retention NCO, "You know what I'm going to do when I get out? I'm going to give free blowjobs to the first 12 people I meet just to get my self-respect back"

They didn't even bother asking me.

4. Ah, unlucky 13.
This has to be difficult for many TSA people.

5. That's a real concern.
I really hope the sickos get turned out by their conscientious colleagues.

6. Awful job, agreed...
Wonder if we spoke up before the TSA agents began, and said eg. "I've had cancer and therefore am avoiding the radiation.. just wanted you to know.." etc..

Catch 22 isn't it?

medical history? Doctors can not disclose our medical information because of HIPAA. So why should we be telling strangers at the airport what kind of medical issues we have?

11. Yes, because obviously TSA screening is tantamount to war crimes.
:eyes:

Somehow I have trouble taking your comparison seriously.

12. It all has to start somewhere.
I went through a nasty security check thankfully prior to this outrageous escalation. The officious little creep simply took a disliking to me, and it was obvious that he enjoyed his job. I have no sympathy for the perverts.

14. Neither do I.
Read the OP... it mentions them.

Meanwhile, perhaps you'll help me compose a little piece;

"First, they came for nude images. But I was clothed, so I did nothing.

Then, they came for the genitals...."

10. Hey, just wait till you're privatized!
Wow, paid minimum wage, no union or health insurance and your management keeps telling you to do more with less, hurry up and get the people through. So you cut corners and skip some people who have boxcutters...

13. If the job was so bad that TSA agents would quit en masse,
and no one else would take it, TSA would have no choice but modify their procedures, no?

16. Me neither, but for reason not listed...
I don't like being touched by strangers, and I would not like having to touch strangers, especially in places considered off-limits TO strangers.

Keep out of my personal space, don't touch me...and I will return the favor.
