Where Does President Obama Stand Compared to Clinton and Reagan?

I was reading the Gallup poll today and ran across an interesting cross compression. They have a chart in which you can compare past Presidents to each other and Obama at different points in time. Amazingly, Obama's 44% rating is 1 point above both Clinton and Reagan for the same week into their first terms. If I remember my history correctly, both of those Presidents won landslide second term elections. Interesting.

After both midterm elections for Reagan and Clinton (they both lost alot of seats) the media was writing them off. The media also said that they just don't get it.

Reagan got shot and Bill Clinton enjoyed being president during a robust period of prosperity and growth for this country. Hopefully, Obama won't get a "boost" the way Reagan did, and I do not see any way in hell for him to get a leg up the way Clinton did.

and we will see the same economic movement during the next 2 years.

it takes time for now economic policies to take hold and gain traction.

He needs to have a bit more courage. More of a spine. Otherwise the Limbaughs, Hannitys, and Boners of the world will walk all over him.
