Student puts out hit on bus driver
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A student at Jefferson Middle School is accused of offering to pay $100 to have someone kill his school bus driver, the driver told WXII on Friday.

The threat was posted online, Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools spokesman Theo Helm said, and the student was disciplined.

According to the driver, who didn't want to be identified, the student hadn't ridden the bus in a while and attempted to get on the bus on Tuesday afternoon.

The driver said the student told her he had been walking home.

2. I'm a bit confused.
Why did the kid want the driver killed? According to the article, the driver let the kid know his name had been removed from the bus roster and took the kid home anyway.
