4. I did three separate sit-down interviews for one job.

The job was nothing special and represented a big pay cut from my previous crappy IT job. I easily spent 20+ hours prepping for it and about 6 hours total at the interviews.

I was competing against 16 candidates, and I ended up the first runner up for the job. I felt like vomiting after the reading the rejection letter. I guess that's just because I'm so "lazy", eh Republicans?
