3. How trying terrorists in civil court is wrong. Turley is all in his face and has
actually worked on some of those cases.

I wouldn't go against Turley when it comes to law. (He was my choice for Attorney General, but Obama didn't take my suggestion.)

6. Military tribunals vs civilian courts
It's killing the right wing that Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani was found guilty in a civilian court. The writhing around and tearing at their clothes is a sight to see.

I guess they wouldn't be happy unless they can convict someone to 200+ life sentences. One 20 years to life sentence is not enough.

8. God... the same RW that castigates Obama for saying something
nice about Sitting Bull and praises Custer as a hero. :eyes: I'd have more to relate to with Martians, I believe.

11. It was a bad day for the republicans
The GM success, this conviction news and their not wanting to move the SALT forward also giving them a shiner - well, a bad day. I guess it all just got to Pataki - to the amusement of Turley, btw.

7. There's nothing worse than a loud mouth dunce
attempting to challenge on a soft spoken professor.
That was priceless.

9. Yep, what an idiot! Notice how nicely Turley was able to trot out John Adams
to enlist him into his argument!

Pataki, sensing he was outflanked, outthought and out of ammo, played the "sorry to be emotional but I was THERE on 9/11!" Yeah, well so were lots of other folks, buddy...

12. The Adams reference is always priceless and something the governor should have anticipated
Turley gave an important lesson in staying calm and on point. Meantime, Pataki just looked like a guy who sucks on his lapels in his off time.

13. If we used the Pataki method we could solve every crime there was in about ten minutes
Edited on Thu Nov-18-10 05:45 PM by NNN0LHI
Hell, I would admit to as many crimes as I possibly could soon as I seen the bucket of water and towel on the floor. Wouldn't even have to use it on me. Just show it to me. I'd be like, where do I sign? Read it? I don't need to read nothing. I am guilty, give me the pen.

I nearly drowned in the Kankakee River when I was a little kid. I never forgot what it was like trying to breath water.

Recommended.
