Please kick to support the protesters at the Bush Lie-brary groundbreaking tomorrow!
My heart will be in Dallas with these patriots tomorrow! I salute each and every one of them!! :patriot:

Work to begin on Bush library, showcase for Texan's presidency

<skip>

Protests expected

Since Bush moved to Dallas, he has received mostly a warm reception from Texans. But peace activists and war protesters have periodically marched and protested as close to his home as they can get.

"Look, I was a controversial guy as your president," Bush told a crowd in Fort Worth earlier this year. "No question about it."

On Tuesday, protesters are planning to show up near the groundbreaking ceremony.

"We feel an obligation, given the history of what we know, to mark this somehow," Jawad, who helped organize the protest, has told the news media. "Questions need to be raised and asked about what the legacy of the Bush administration is. That is what we're trying to start."

Protesters plan to create a display not far from the ceremony of soldiers' boots, dog tags and about 200 crosses.

6. His legacy isn't a library.
It's an ocean of blood shed without cause. Blood of our men and women in uniform, squandered for his delusions. Blood of millions of Iraqis, including children, whose only fault was an inability to run from our "shock and awe". Blood of those who died, many still unaccounted for, because he couldn't be bothered to rescue New Orleans. Blood of those hundreds who were executed by his pen when he was governor. Blood of those who went into harm's way in his stead when he chose not to fulfill his guard obligation...

Bloody Bush. Bloody coward. Bloody shame.

Talked to them on the phone.

11. I'm glad to hear it, although I had no doubt that they'd be having
a great time. Lori and Renee were here a few weeks ago, which was great. I got one of my sons to go with me and I was glad that he got to meet them. And I talked to the big goofy guy a couple nights ago, he was really looking forward to his trip to Texas. It's good to know that they're having fun while doing something important. And give Bush my regards next week, lol.

18. there is a big difference between "Us" and "Them"..I was there
Without exception...everyone was kind,respectful...and no "self-importance"..The famous were right next to the regular folks...all wearing black, all showing respect for the troops and civilians killed to profit the Bush Legacy.

The other side of the street had very loud "Support Republicans" "Waterboarding was a good thing"...you get the picture.

We thanked the police officers for their kindness.

I'll post more when my tears dry.

Thanks for all that were there in spirit...
