2. 5 million? Or 5,000? I find it hard to believe it was more than a busload.
Alaska should sue her for ruining their reputation.

3. Ok, so Olbermann gets +- 1 million a night, and Maddow gets +-
1.5 million a night, that's 2.5 mil right there. Sunday night football got almost 17 million last night so that's almost 20 million total.

So we beat mama grizzly by 4 to one.

She's got nothin'.

4. NOT such a great showing at all!
To put TLC's Sunday Palin numbers in perspective, in the same hour:

*NBC's NFL football game averaged nearly 20 million viewers
*ABC's "Desperate Housewives" logged nearly 12 million people
*CBS's "Undercover Boss" attracted an average of 10 million
*Fox's "Family Guy" nabbed about 6.2 million

It was a record premiere for TLC.

5. I think it was a bunch of rubber-neckers--
lookey-loos, gapers--you know, the people who slow down to get a good look at wrecks. If the show was boring and bad enough, that number of peepers will taper off precipitously.

7. And of course, big AP suckup story about how she made TLC history.
The Learning Channel. What an oxymoron with THAT moron on it.

Sarah Palin made TLC history.

The debut of "Sarah Palin's Alaska," the former governor's travelogue about her home state, had just under 5 million viewers on TLC Sunday night.

The Nielsen Co. says that was the top-rated series premiere in the network's history, besting "What Not To Wear" in 2003.

8. Well, I wasn't one of them.
I can see Alaska from my house -- and Sarah's nowhere to be seen, thankfully. I'm so done with her.

9. I was flipping threw the channels and saw some rock climbing deal and it didn't show
who it was for a while, so I was intrigued for a moment then I heard that voice, then I watched for a moment to see if she'd quit like quitter 1/2 governor or fall off. Neither happened soon enough so I moved along and fell asleep.

12. What's that, about 1.5% of the population?
Anyone know what percentage of actual voters it is?
