There's something amusing about hearing that so many men
are upset about getting groped.

Will this make men in general more sensitive to issues of sexual harassment?

Maybe it's worth it then . . . .

6. Perhaps they could combine those tests!
I remember an old Bob Newhart routine about an unscheduled flight and storm door company... how about TSA search and mammograms?

:D

9. I'd be tempted to put a plastic lizard toy in my crotch.

that ought to wake up the night shift, seeing as I am not a guy.

do they grope before or after the scan? or is this to replace the scanning?
o well, no matter. I hate flying, but I do like laughing.

2. Heck, it's not so often I get groped at my age, so I'm sorta
looking forward to it. Plus, how often does someone want to look at a 65-year-old man naked, for that matter? Maybe I'll just leave something in my pocket when I go through the scanner and get both. Yeah, that's the ticket.

4. I think I'll go for the groping, myself. I'll just pretend
I'm at the spa, getting a massage.

;-)

5. Hahahaha!
Can I suggest a banana? Perhaps a sweet potato? Tell 'em you need to carry food in case of sudden blood sugar changes! Yeah, that's the ticket!

7. Is there an extra fee for groping?
Or is it informal, like a gratuity or a tip?

Can you also request special gropings?

8. I think you can make special requests, but

whether they will be honored or not, that's a different story.

10. That groping might turn them to da gay, doncha know?
Edited on Mon Nov-15-10 09:12 PM by hlthe2b

:sarcasm: (of course)

'though I totally disagree with this new "groping" tactic as it is being implemented. To think young children are being subjected to genital groping is beyond horrifying to me, even more so than with adults which is likewise out of bounds. I have, in fact officially registered the abusive incident I witnessed with ACLU. I know countless thousands of others are as well.

13. Oh, dear
It may cause some to consider an "alternative lifestyle".

That won't do.

15. I don't understand the deal with children, because I just read
that only children over 12 are supposed to be included. I wonder if the rule has changed, or if random TSA people are incorrectly interpreting it?

17. I have yet to see consistency in TSA between airports at all...
They seem to make it up as they go--along with the justification for what they do.

11. Are guys in general unsympathetic to women who say they were groped?
I know some guys might not take verbal harassment seriously, but groping crosses a line clear enough for even us male neanderthals to see.

16. They sure were 20 years ago or so. I think younger men
have been educated to be more sensitive to these issues -- but not all of them.

14. Who'da thunk?
So many men like to grab a woman's ass or crotch out of the blue I'm sort of shock that they'd not like it done to them.

I am tickled that men's emotional responses are so amusing to you. So lives the incredible double standard for DU.
