First they try to kill our cats and dogs. Then they poison our meat that we eat. Now they are trying to poison with toothpaste? Don't forget to thank China and the U.S. corporate greedy bastards when you brush your teeth tonight.

2. I read the freakiest article this week about imports from China and how the US wants
access to their markets so badly, we overlook/don't inspect the food & cometics we import from China. Your tax dollars at work -- NOT.

Oh goody! I found the link:

5. Don't blame China. Blame the corporations who refuse to operate with standards.

6. China says: "Shut up and eat your melamine. And don't forget to brush your teeth with antifreeze!"
A company under investigation for exporting the toothpaste, Danyang Household Chemical Company, defended its product. 'Toothpaste is not something you'd swallow, but spit out, and so it's totally different from something you would eat,' one company manager, who declined to be identified, said by telephone from the eastern province of Jiangsu.

Executives from both companies under investigation in China denied in interviews on Monday that they had exported any toothpaste containing diethylene glycol to Panama. “We didn’t do this; we didn’t make the bad stuff,” said Shi Lei, a manager at Danyang City Success. “It was probably someone else.“ But Ms. Shi and other toothpaste makers in this region said that diethylene glycol had been used in toothpaste in China for years and that producers believed it was not very harmful. Hu Keyu, the manager at Goldcredit International, said that while he did not produce the toothpaste shipped to Panama, diethylene glycol had been used for years at very low levels in Chinese toothpaste as a glycerin substitute. “If diethylene glycol were poisonous,” he said, “all Chinese people would have been poisoned.”

7. The FDA should be inspecting ALL imported foods and drugs.
I don't get why we should congratulate them for actually doing their jobs after people get hurt because they didn't before.

OF FUCKIN' toothpaste, sheesh, do we outsource EVERYTHING!!!!

I'll admit, I brush with a mix of baking soda and peroxide first, before I brush with toothpaste.

Maybe I should use just that, or maybe baking soda & peroxide are outsourced too!!!

10. Sweetens and thickens cheaper than other ingredients
Same sweet taste that draws cats to anti-freeze spills then kills them.
