5. KO showed a video of a horse in the rear seat of the car
literally sticking it's head out, like a dog. IT WAS wild.

I am going to try to track it.

Here, another video

3. All I needed to see was the driver
with a spliff. Freaking priceless - looked like a pony.

7. My Dad had a head on collision with a horse.
Fortunately he was unhurt but the horse was not fortunate.

The horse went head first through the passenger side and was half in and out of the car. The Oldsmobile Tornado was totalled.

This was nearly 30 years ago within the Hupa Reservation on the Mill Creek bridge and a commmon drive for my father.

9. This was not an accident, and I am glad your dad was fine
but a horse RIDING inside the care, like a dog. That was wild.

10. I did not watch KO and when posted did not realize the full story.
I had two childhood to adult friends killed on the Mill Creek Bridge from livestock-car collisions. There has not been open range on the Reservation for 30 years or so.

When I was a child, we had a palomino gelding, Poncho, who was slightly over 14 hands. He ran in our yard like a dog or cat. One cat was his pal, Baby -- think I posted about this once before at DU. The cat and horse were friends -- Baby hung out on Poncho's back and swatted insects and Baby would allow Poncho to pick her up by mouth to place on his back. Poncho would push open the screen door and watch TV with my grandmother half in the house back in the 50s and early 60s. We had one of the first TVs and the attenna was 170 ft up a Douglas-fir to get reception.

I didn't mean to bring down what was televised on KO -- still don't know -- that close call came 1st from my mind.

Peace. You are one of the better posters at DU.

11. No problems
I have two conures, that are like kids... hell one runs the house...

So that story is heart warming in many ways. I can see a horse watching TV... I have a conure that does.
