Let that be a warning to you... In America, everyone is vulnerable.

1. I've never seen that movie....

I'm gonna change that and look for it this weekend. ;)

2. You must. 35 years old, and more relevant today than when it was
released.

4. I've certainly heard about it and can "see" certain clips in my head...

that have been referred to over the years, but never saw it. It DOES sound more relevant today than ever before.

:)

3. OMG! You must see it and watch it more than once
It's probably the more prescient movie ever.

5. Wow, I'm definitely going to cross this "to-do" item off my list...
and get this movie.

It's rather pathetic that I'm 47 and have never seen it, but better late than never.

:hi:

6. In a peculiar way it literally changed my life.
When it was released my then almost-fiance and I wanted a night out at the movies - she wanted to see Rocky, I wanted to see Network. The ensuing argument revealed a hitherto unseen gap between us which wound up becoming an unbridgeable chasm, and she never did become my fiance, much less my wife. It was the first time I realized that whatever connections you might have with another person, if there is a psychological/political divide - such as the one between fans of Rocky and fans of Network - it may never be crossed.
