3. I suspect a Photoshop job. It would be a snap, beginning with

taking a screen shot of the image, then fitting it to the screen. I wouldn't take this photo as factual unless there was more evidence.

Photoshop modification of a photo. That's also a distinct possibility, and the photo would be easy to modify in that way. Could be real. Could be a Photoshopped photo. Do you know which it is?

ETA: The "fake cocaine" stunt turned out to be factual and it was far more stupid than this incident, I personally think it's real but have no way of knowing for sure..

I think it's normal that the TSA guys gets a laugh at themselves/situations too.
Remember, the agents are people too. It's not like they make the policies.
They're allowed to think the policies are stupid too. It's just a job.

Aside from who would be in their office taking it, it is a poor photoshopped picture. Rather funny how the screen and the blue and green dots (buttons?) under it are bright and clear and the rest is not.
