Why not increase the size of the cuts for the wealthy and make them permanent? If they are good for America lets make them even better by enlarging them and making them permanent..It should be a very easy task.. Obama has already signaled he will do whatever Republicans want...There truly is no concern for America, only Obama's political future....Adding 700 Billion to our Deficit at this time just so the extremely wealthy can get even more so makes all the sense in the world.. That is why Republicans were elected by the people with such a huge mandate...Empty the US Treasury and give it to those that have more money than God.....Makes perfect sense...

1. Stop there? They're just getting started
They'll lay waste, as they always do, and the dem leadership will stand by, either hand-wringing, keeping their powder dry, or enabling, just like they always do.

2. They won't, they are just getting started

Its only a question of how much capitulation Obama will give them, and intertwined with this is how interested he is in having a second term in office.

10. Obama has stated more than once he is willing to compromise
This has not been debunked and I will bet you almost any amount those tax cuts will be passed before the end of the year..

11. I never suggested they would go along with permanent extensions
I suggested that the Republicans should ask for that and go a bit further and ask that they even be enlarged... Obama has stated many times he is willing to compromise..Those tax cuts for the wealthy will be extended, and I am willing to bet on that.. They may be called temporary but they will be extended..

12. Obama's plan gives rich people a tax cut on the first 250.000 (always has)
Maybe his compromise is to raise that to 500.000. I have no idea but my speculation is as good as the AP.

The only actual thing we have now is speculation and fraudulent huffington posts

17. I heard him (Obama) say the compromise was on it being temporary instead of permanent.
But it will happen...Bank on it.

That's jumping the gun.

So far all we have is typical DU word-parsing and conspiracy theories.
