Vote for TIME's 2010 Person of the Year
Edited on Wed Nov-10-10 10:07 PM by arcane1
Some choices are pretty interesting, while others make me wish I was a Starfleet officer on a survey mission to an alien planet, secure in the knowledge that I'll get beamed up soon.

You can rate each person from 1 to 100:

On iedt: I gave 100's to Julian Assange, Elizabeth Warren et al, and the Koch brothers. The rest got varying scores, with some obvious 1's :)

2. Considering the election results I'd say Glenn Beck.
Time person of the year, is not a "award" for best person of the year, but instead who had the most influence. Hitler and Stalin have won it in the past. In the same regard, this was Glenn Beck's year unfortunately.

9. I disagree - I don't think he's been so influential
More like the Koch Bros. or Assange.

Clowns like Beck have been around forever - only their names change.

7. Those stupid code words make it cumbersome as hell
and really difficult for those of us with less than perfect vision.

11. Wonder how many here read this mag ... wasn't it over 30 years ago???
I'd really like to know if anyone actually buys it?

Read it in doctor's office -- cares what it says?

Or any other?

13. I don't
I think its biggest effect is the cover when viewed in a checkout line.

Come to think of it, that applies to most newspapers too.

15. The editors will make the final decision
And since the rethugs took half of Congress, they'll give it to either Beck or Palin.

Nice seeing Jon and Steve in the lead, of course.

but I'm not the least interested in being politically correct here. So I voted 100% for Barack Obama!

20. I wish it was Elizabeth Warren. Truth be told, it's Jim DeMint
He's the guiding force behind the Tea Party members of Congress. Together they'll usher in a new Gilded Age. Congratulations, assholes.
