Orrin Hatch: Not Conservative Enough?
I get that there are those of us that think the president isn't liberal enough. I've tried to explain to some conservatives why that is, but they just don't get it. Now, the shoe's on the other foot, because I'd REALLY like one of them to explain what it is about ORRIN FREAKING HATCH that isn't conservative enough for them - to the point where he looks to be a Tea Party primary target in 2012.

So much for learning the Christine O'Donnell/Sharron Angle lesson...

1. Just for clarification, were you really expecting Tea Partiers to learn from the lessons of history?
What part of 2+2=5 do you not understand?

4. It would be great if that tool Oral Hatch down.
I'd pay money to see that one. I can't stand that sanctimonious fool.

5. Problem being...
what are the odds of a Democrat getting elected in Utah vs. a crazier-than-Hatch Republican? Probably better than against Hatch, but still... it's Utah.

6. Oh my word. You mean it?
Can I savor this moment? Is it because he favors stem cell research? Liked Kennedy?

7. cough * Mormon* cough
Their is an incipient power struggle within the Teapublican Party, and Hatch will be collateral damage as they are trying to kneecap Mittens support for a 2012 run.

What better way to do it than get a high-profile Mormon politician kicked out of the Senate.

Sending a message, as it were.

Mittens isn't their boy, nor will he ever be if they get their way.

9. It's what I would do.
Find a potential opponenet's weakest ally, and target him first.
