“Sarah Palin cost us control of the Senate.” - U.S. Rep. Bachus, R-Alabama
“Sarah Palin cost us control of the Senate.” - U.S. Rep. Bachus, R-Alabama

"Bachus made his remarks on Nov. 4 at the monthly luncheon meeting of the South Shelby Chamber of Commerce, held at the Columbiana United Methodist Church.

“The Senate would be Republican today except for states (in which Palin endorsed candidates) like Christine O’Donnell in Delaware,” Bachus said. “Sarah Palin cost us control of the Senate.”

Get the popcorn, the take down of the Alaska dingbat has begun! This comes just hours after Palin and Michael Steele told the palinistas to ignore "anonymous" sources that have been critizing Palin this week.

HA HA HA! Anonymous NO MORE! I expect many more Republicans to speak ON RECORD now that Bachus has led the way.

3. No! No! Don't listen to them! He couldn't really have said
that. Wait til tommorrow and see if Glenn Beck says anything about it. If he doesn't tell us about it then it's more liberal lies trying to hurt Sarah. Or so the Teabaggers will tell each other. LOL

5. The primary voters didn't have to listen to her
She could endorse whoever she wanted, it was up to primary voters to select good candidates. Too bad, so sad.

13. IMO, she will win primaries in every southern state, including KS, OK. The teabaggers
will work like hell for her in a lot of other states, especially PA.

11. "I can see Russia from my house" in A-las-kah.
I have never met anyone who pronounced Alaska the way she does.

My gawd she should have been on the Cartoon channel, not on regular tv where folks old enough to vote could see her.

12. Get the popcorn, indeed.
I can't wait until the real long knives come out next year and in 2012. I hope the infighting is so bad that they eviscerate each other's capability to campaign effectively, and show who they are to a tone-deaf fold of sheep that are the low-information crowd that voted these fools in.

14. I still don't think she'll run in 2012. Her support is half an inch thick.
She won't win. It'll be between Romney, Huckabee, and a real Tea Partier. Republicans always nominate their senior man. Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Dole, McCain. Dubya was the only exception and even he was a legacy. Although 2012 could be different, I kinda suspect having control of the House will fuck them up. It's harder to throw a temper tantrum when you're in the driver's seat. In the end it'll be Romney, with an outside chance of Huckabee if he can cozy up to the Bags. I dunno, they'll probably end up calling him a liberal for all that Jesus-quotin' he does. Huck's got a real problem with libertarians. Romney will say whatever he has to to get a vote.

18. Romney is still a Morman.
Sarah is a Christian. If Sarah can get Huck on her side, offer him a Veepership?, she's got it made.

15. Of course. They have to take down Sarah to clear the
way for Jebbie. To see where this has happened before, reference the 1968 Republican nominating process. Successive perceived front-runners' campaigns apparently self-destruct leaving Richard as the last man standing.

19. Actually, people acting like honorable citizens cost Republicons the Senate
And people being swayed by RepubliCorp media outlets like Fox gave Republicons the House.

Let's be honest.

22. Palin totally wrecked the republicans in Delaware
If you didn't know any better the Dems kicked serious ass in our state and booted a few republicans along the way outside of O'Donnell.
