He says a it's terrible idea that doesn't make sense. Why is he so concerned about us? Lol. He doesn't want to deal with her. And, the gonads to say this:

"This is the woman who...puts ideology first," Cantor said. "This says to voters, 'we're not listening to you.' "

Then why wouldn't you want her there if she is bad for democrats? These GOP yokels think everybody's stupid.

Rep. Eric Cantor: Nancy Pelosi should not be Democratic leader

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2010/11/eric-cantor-nancy-pelosi-house-leadership-2010-elections-/1?csp=hf

If he doesn't want her she must be the ideal choice.

1. Well if thats the case
Boner or any republican should not have any power what so ever because they put making money first, and that should say to the voters GO FUCK YOURSELVES, GIVE US MORE MONEY! but for some reason it doesn't.

24. Almost got into a fistfight over Pelosi this morning!
There's this Rethug who lives down the hall from me, a real Neanderthal-type. Anyway, there I am at 9 AM, stepping onto the elevator when he goes "Hold the door" and comes running over, kind of winded from the 12 yard jog (did I mention he was 300 lbs?). So the doors close and we're both heading down to the lobby when he looks over and sees Pelosi's name on the front cover of the "Mother Jones" I was carrying. He kinda smirks at it and goes, "Pelosi, huh? Guess there's one 'tard who's gonna need a job in a couple weeks. Wonder if Denny's is hiring."

I go, "'Tard'?! You saying Sarah Palin's any smarter?"

He goes, "Pretty hard to be dumber."

I go, "Maybe...but that's not what I asked. Is Palin any SMARTER?"

He couldn't answer me (of course). He just kind of smirked again as the doors opened and he shuffled off.

I was ready to kill the guy.

2. There's something about the ole smirking Eric
that I can't stand looking at, just like GWBush. Somethings in life you just can't stand but you can't put your finger on why.

7. They want her as leader so they can keep
demonizing her. They think it worked this time and want to keep her and her 'San Francisco values' as the face of the opposition.

This is theater.

This is truly none of Mr. Cantor's business, unless he's contemplating switching parties. Is Eric Cantor secretly a Democrat? I'm sure I've seen that somewhere on the internets.

21. yet another rethug dirty trick -- getting in cheap shots against the opposition.
the substance doesn't matter, nor does the source. rethugs win because they get to broadcast another negative to tie with the democrats.

that's all they know, smear, smear, smear.
if the words aren't nasty enough, say it with a sneer.

Why didn't they respond immediately and tell Cantor it's none of his f-ing business who they have as Minority leader? Tell him to worry about his own party and keep his nose out of theirs.

Sheesh...have there ever been a bigger bunch of spineless wimps?

37. Reverse Psychology?
Edited on Mon Nov-08-10 09:52 AM by howaboutme
My take on it is that sometimes you need to shuffle the deck, or in the case of golf pull out a new ball. It can change momentum, dynamics and perceptions. There is a good case to be made that the Republicans want her to remain because they know the dynamics. This might be their feeble attempt at using reverse psychology.
