Steve Kroft is a fucking moron
Edited on Sun Nov-07-10 08:43 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
I just thought I'd share that with y'all.

In the 60 MINUTES interview he countered Obama's comments on the Bush tax cuts with his assertion that tax cuts for folks making over $250K are stimulative because those are "the people who have money to spend."

The more you ponder that reasoning the more your head will hurt.

1. Repeat the lie often enough, and it becomes the truth.
The Republicans have proven this time and time again, and now that's but one of the many Republican lies that have become the "truth."

4. Could he have mispoken???
They have so much money, they throw the check in Savings or
Investments. Does not circulate through the economy.

They have had the benefits of this taxcut for over
8 years. Theoretically we should have not gone into
recession. We know the truth--most of the jobs
they created were overseas.

Was he being ironic, sarcastic??

12. Why, yes. They should've made us recession proof...
... if GOP arguments are to be believed.

13. Well, it's been close to 14 years with the "Free Trade" Agreements taking effect . . .
. . . and as you can see, we have just an abundance of "new age", high-paying jobs as a result.

16. Poor people just hoard their money
They're afraid that if they spend it, they won't have money for food. :eyes:

That's about the same level of logic Kroft is using.
