Coincidence? I Think Not! Comcast/NBC Universal Restructuring Coming November 15th
We've all read the various reasons trotted out by the media & msnbc itself regarding Keith Olbermann's political donations. Many surmised that he didn't get permission before doing so. But I, and others, have had the thought that there's more going on than a mere company policy infraction...

New COMCAST-NBCU Organizational Structure Coming Nov. 15

Deadline is reporting that Comcast has finished the kicking the tires and is now going through the motions of putting their executives in place at NBC Universal, with the completion of this process due on November 15th.

NBC Universal insiders tell us they expect a fresh "organizational structure" to be announced by new owner Comcast as soon as next week and before Thanksgiving. One thing holding it up: we've learned that final negotiations for a deal is being closed this weekend to bring in a TV veteran executive from outside for a big top NBCU job.

I really don't think this is me Chicken Little-ing this news. We've heard of contentious battles between Keith and Phil Griffin, head of msnbc, we know that Comcast has emptied their purse in extensive donations to Republican candidates and causes - namely one of their executives being a premium donor to Bush's re-election campaign. I sincerely believe that this is the beginning of an attempt by Griffin to shore up the channel before Comcast's impending takeover of the company. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.

If this is truly the case - NBC Universal is attempting to soften and/or stifle msnbc's progressive voices - then this needs to stop, and it needs to stop now. The Republican Party already has an echo chamber on Fox News Channel; our country does not need msnbc to become a Xeroxed version of Roger Ailes' conservative hate factory. It has finally carved out success in a very competitive environment by providing a voice to the previously voiceless and ably assisted by the sharp wit and brilliant minds of Ed Schultz, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell, the downtrodden can stand up and be counted, those that would seek to tear down and obfuscate the truth can no longer hide, and the people and organizations that wish to tear down and harm our nation are now having their feet held to the fire by those terrific aforementioned hosts on msnbc, who speak truth to power.

2. Anger and sadness here...
then anger all over again. The Corporate mushroom cloud continues to horribly polute the media atmosphere. The air is very hard to breathe.

They aren't the majority, they just have a shitload of money.

I've done everything I possibly can to make my position known.
My voice won't stop.
