While Fox News are allowed to call unemployed job seeking Americans violent, gun-toting crazies; MSNBC President Phil Griffin, decided to put the stalworth of journalism fairness and supporter of unemployed job seekers Keith Olbermann on suspension "Indefinitely", for campaign donations to Democratic candidates, on November 5.

The MSNBC president is Phil Griffin, not Ken Griffin.

The word is not "stall-worth," it's "stalwart."


We talk here about uninformed or low-information voters but we seem very willing to accept poorly written crap as gospel.


And yes, I've seen the HuffPo report that Bill Kristol was "extolling MSNBC's brass for muzzling someone whose ideological leanings are fairly self-evident." Extolling means praising; I think the word that writer wanted was "exhorting," which isn't even the best choice either.

Joe Scarborough, current host of the "Morning Joe" talk show and the host of the former evening newscast "Scarborough Country," donated $4,200 in March 2006 to Derrick Kitts, a Republican candidate for the U.S. House from Oregon.


Here was the NBC’s explanation for Joe Scarborough’s campaign donations in 2007.

A spokesperson for NBC, Jeremy Gaines, replied to questions sent to Scarborough. "Yes, he did make a donation to Derrick Kitts. Kitts is an old friend of Joe's. Joe hosts an opinion program and is not a news reporter."

Regardless, Olbermann’s explanation was not enough to skirt the so-called ethics rules at NBC News, and Griffin believed that he had no choice but to suspend him. ****

So, instead of "being the lover of all words", try to support resources that are behind Keith Olbermann efforts (we hope) to return back to the network and support causes of Liberals and the "Professional Left", including Extending Unemployment Benefits. (P.S.-Intentional capitalization)

I said it had a fact wrong -- the name of the president of MSNBC.

I said it had a very wrong, made-up, almost unrecognizable word -- stall-worth.

How you have managed to turn my pointing those things out into my being against helping jobless Americans is beyond me.
