Cancel your cable, phone, whatever you have from them.

1. Luckily Comcast is not in my area
though I'm not sure Cox is much better.

3. Exactly! IMO it's just the beginning of MSNBC's purge of people. If the

country really moves RW, fascist, MSNBC will want to be right on the money trail and RW Comcast, a dreadful company, will push MSNBC RW. This will eventually be like the airwave jamming of WWII radio signals, except this time around Voice of America, whatever, will be gone.

4. If Dish is available, switch from comcast to Dish
We have had it forever & love it:)

The pricing is all pretty much the same anyway.. Just dump CC and make a statement... If enough people do it all at once, they will "feel it"..

8. Comcast is overplaying their hand.
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 05:19 PM by RandomThoughts
It is part of attempts to consolidate and control. And is seen for what it is.

The Republican failure in the election against the progressives have then terrified.

They only see nightmares.

11. If the RW gets back in all the way, one can be sure internet censoring will
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 05:24 PM by RKP5637
be all over the place. The US will make China's censoring look like child's play. Already the ignorance of America from the non-stop RW propaganda is appalling. And SCOTUS will do whatever is necessary to make internet censoring the law of the land. This country has stooped so low, internet censoring would be nothing.

12. They can try, best to not rely on such things.
And run the race set before you

total war teutonic knight charge

And those making those decisions at Comcast are very vulnerable.

9. Theirs was the first stock I dumped out of the portfolio I inherited
and it was one of the best decisions I've made since it held less of its value over the next 3 years than the one I replaced it with. I've never liked the way that company has been run. I never considered cable when I could afford it, opting instead for a dish and DSL through QWest.

10. I've got Comcast
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 05:24 PM by Mz Pip
and the wording of their news links on my email homepage is has a definite RW slant. Today they put up the most unflattering picture of Nancy Pelosi for their story on her fight to remain leader.

I'd like to cancel Comcast, but they supply everything - email, cable, internet, the whole shebang. What is Comcast's connection to MSNBC?

14. Basic Comcast cable
Gives you FoxGOP, nothing liberal. I filed a BBB complaint against them this summer and cancelled my subscription. I always wondered if Murdoch had an investment in the company or an investment in the comcast cable boxes (inflated viewer numbers on Faux).

I have U-verse with att - love it, less money and more channels. Great referral program, great start up program (we got $300 in visa cards for signing up).

Comcast can eat it as far as I am concerned.

16. I switched to Verizon. Fewer internet outages, and no..
phone going out when the cable goes out. With Comcast, everything was interconnected. With the Olbermann thing, I'm happy I changed, though I'm not sure Verizon is any less conservative. The Verizon news page also has RW slant.

I don't know how there still is regular cable, especially because in my area peoples cable will go out for days on end, but its probably because they don't switch, i'll never understand the freaking american people.

22. I switched to U-verse
I haven't noticed a change in my internet, it was supposed to be faster but it is the same. Still fast, but not lightening fast. I think i may just have old computers and that might be a factor.

They have a great referral program and incentives to take advantage of - pm me if you would like to know more.
