Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 04:06 PM by emulatorloo
he was suspended.

I don't think he will get fired, too important to MSNBC's bottom line.

Will definitely check out the link THANKS!!!!

6. Interesting comment on Todd's Blog:
<snip>

"What did Bill O'Reilly know that he would make this comment:

O’Reilly: Comcast takes over soon. I think they are going to change that whole thing over there. That’s what we hear anyway.

http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/keith-olbermann-adjusts-his-sign-off-while-bill-oreilly-speculates-about-adjustments-at-msnbc_b38278

Jeez, don't tell me Rupert Murdoch or the Koch brothers own Comcast, I just couldn't take that news."

12. Another clue when Obiley talked about "they are gonna commit suicide over there"
and he could have been referring not to just the election results.

8. LOL
Deborah -

We've picked Chuck to replace Keith. When we heard that MSNBC needed someone without any political bias, we thought immediately of Chuck.

9. The interesting thing is,
Comcast could donate all the money it wants to any candidate it wants to and never have it made public.

So, why is it that an individual - who can actually vote - has a limit on how large their donation is and has to fill out a disclosure form for the candidate?

17. actually that isn't true
Both individuals and corporations can spend unlimitedly now on ads to benefit or oppose candidates with no disclosure but corporations can't give at all, and individuals can do so only within limits and disclosing to candidates.

21. My two cents...
PCPL
Keith Olbermann's viewers are being punished by Mr. Griffin's decision to suspend Keith "indefinitely".

Fox News -- always operating on a different ethic scale -- must be quite amused & are no doubt celebrating at how MSNBC is figuratively thumbing its nose at Keith's viewers.

Punishment should fit the "crime", & if Keith deserved a penalty, it should have been a monetary one & not at the expense of his viewership.
