Keith's suspension gave me this cause for pause:

Employers routinely do background checks, urine and/or blood tests (even legal substances can get you fired, depending on policy), credit checks, monitor what you post on social networking sites on your own time, tell you who you should vote for...

AND monitor whose campaigns you make personal contributions to?

I'd say the Big Brother role has been privatized to the corporations.

1. government takes it's orders from corporate america, and has for some time.
the supreme court ruling only cemented it.
