Called Boner's office...

I just got off the phone with Boehner's office. I explained that I lived in South Carolina, one of the states that helped put him in position of Speaker, and I've been unemployed/underemployed since 2008, and I wanted to know what the plan was to provide me with job opportunities. The aide was rude and repeated "We're working on that." when I asked for specifics. I told him that wasn't an answer and repeated me questions. He continued to give me non-answers and eventually hung up on me when I explained that if you run on a campaign criticizing job creation and don't have a specific plan yourself, you are deceiving the American voter. I don't think they want to hear that...

His office number is saved in my phone. I will be calling every day on my way home from my minimum wage part time job where I barely use my post-graduate degree. I'm so angry from that treatment I'm shaking...I NEVER get that angry.

On the plus side of that call, it took me 6 tries to connect...the line was busy. I'd like to think it was all people calling in to ask the same question. :D

I am not one to usually stir the pot directly like this. I'm more of a talk to local people and convince them to see my side type of person, but this really really pissed me off. I cannot believe that I was hung up on by a political figure (yes I know it wasn't him directly, but his aides speak for him in my mind).

because you asked for a job plan that he said he had when he was running for office. that you are upset because they had the nerve to hang up on a constituent. And write every day. Maybe it might shake some others to do the same.
