That does it! I'm leaving America (and moving to Delaware)
via LynneSin:

Former DE US Representative Mike Castle (R) blames O'Donnell for Democrats big wins in state

Although Return Day is supposed to let candidates and politicians to put any harsh feelings aside, O'Donnell's upset victory over longtime congressman and former governor Mike Castle in the GOP primary left a lingering impact on the state Republican Party.

Besides O'Donnell and Urquhart, GOP candidates for state treasurer and several legislative seats were defeated as well.

"The Republican party took a real shellacking in this election in Delaware," Castle told The Associated Press.

 Thank you, Lynne. You made my day!

9. Have you tried traveling U.S. 301?
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 10:41 AM by NI4NI
I believe 301 leads into Virginia.
I use it from Delaware whenever traveling back and forth to Annapolis MD.
It is a dual lane, tree lined highway without tolls, stops, or traffic congestion.

11. We take 95 from Maryland to NJ
and yes, we avoid one DE toll by getting off just before Newark, DE and then getting back on 95 after the toll plaza.

It's not even so much the money that annoys me, as the poor staffing that results in miles-long backups in both directions.

3. Made mine too :-) Yay for Delaware!
But shouldn't it be, "That's it, I'm leaving Texas (for me Maine) and moving to America"... The teabaggers always talk about what 'the founders' intended America to be. I think Delaware is more in line with 'the founders' thinking then our red states.

The midterms turned Maine from blue to red and I'm still grieving over it. :-(

But hearing about Delaware, California and some of the other states that did well makes things a little better at least.

6. Awww thank you. I have room at my house for any transplants
BTW Coons did raise our property taxes 3 times over 6 years and we STILL have the cheapest property taxes in the Philadelphia Metro region.

Go figure.

10. I'd trade someone my spot in Delaware, but if you're willing
to move here, you must REALLY live somewhere crappy.

Oh I kid Delaware...it's fine.....ok...I'm lying. I hate it here. I need a city. Well one different from Wilmington, where you'll get shot if you cross the wrong street.
