DeMint, in ONE day betrays his beloved Tea Bag bona fides
So, Mr. Tea Bag himself, Mr. Nothing That Raises the deficit, who burnished his Tea Bag bona fides on promising to not do anything, ANYTHING that would add to the deficit, did what? In one day, ONE FUCKING DAY, he reversed course on his promise to Tea Baggers and now ill agree to raise the debt ceiling, thus adding to the deficit.

This shows two things. First, he is a hypocrite. All Tea Baggers will be shown to be so since their bullshit simpyl does not square with an objective reality. Governing would be impossible if their central themes were employed.

Second, Tea Baggers are fucking idiots, as we knew all along. They really are the less educated, less gifted segment that gets riled up on three word slogans. Their key theme is less spending cute the deficit, and turncoat DeMint flushed that tenet right down the pishadoon the very first chance he got. yet, Tea Baggers are too stupid to recognize what has happened to them. Let's see if in the next few days the call out DeMint. Doubt it.

1. you're right, but it has to be screamed from the rooftops
and that ain't gonna happen because we're Democrats, and we don't seem to know how to do it.

Exposing this to the teabaggers would make them face up to the stupidity of their cries when they implied that Obama was supposed to dig us out of The Repugnant's hole without spending any money to do it. What morons. By the way, this is the Boenher recession that we are in. And hey Boenher, where are the jobs?

2. The game is nearing an end when the lies to win are so quickly exposed
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 12:29 AM by DJ13
The GOP (and even the DLC Dems) have had to run an endless con on their voters to win.

The GOP promised their base for 20 years an end to abortion, then when they held all three branches of government they forgot to deal with the issue.

The same with our party, they had made promises for 20 years to give us universal healthcare, then when they held all three branches they didnt even try.

The TP is just the last con game on the right to try and distract voters long enough to regain power, but its getting harder to keep their base satisfied with BS.

This will blow up on both sides real soon unless the two parties start dealing with their voters more honestly.

3. I am looking for the fight with Rand Paul.
Rand Paul wants the troops home - a huge drain on the budget. If the debt ceiling is not raised, Paul can shout about bringing the troops home. Maybe, (wild dreams here), Paul can undermine the lock that the Generals have on the war. If h does, than that little arrogant weasel will earn one term. After that, he will be replaced by a puke, for sure.

4. Freak Republic is already luke-warm on Paul
I hope he is at least on our side with wars, and doesn't support the Un-Patriot Act (his father doesn't).
