It has every race in every state and it has totals at the bottom...but you have to scroll to the bottom of CA to see all the totals...I hope someone with math wizardry can do some analysis...I just did all the listings and the totals...

Anyone can view, and I hope at least copy paste it..on my gmail document at: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AuKpP359kmvBdFZaRUFSS0NxTWZhLUhtbDNhUHdKekE&hl=en&authkey=CL2F37cG#gid=0

The data came from the web and the population came from the 2010 census.

4. These are the real numbers..my point is...AMERICA DID NOT SPEAK
in one voice..the final numbers..those that checked Democrat..vs those that checked Republican is actually 50/50 nation wide! it is NOT A MANDATE!

5. shamelessly kicking my own post...heck..I spent 12 hours putting this together
I did simple addition and percentages..and find that actually the country in indeed 50/50 and the republicans do not have a mandate....

I noted the total republican votes vs the total democratic votes...I know they are cumulative, but who pulled the 'lever' for a dem vs a rep is 50/50..taken all together....

8. Thank You. Very well done.
However, I've been wondering if there's a resource showing the turnover - How many incumbents from both parties lost their seats.

I keep thinking it was more "anti-incumbent" sentiment than anything.

9. incumbent was in the list....but it could not be usefull in my array
cause I had to have them all to be "alike"...I too would love to see incumbents..

from what I saw....most incumbents were re elected

10. Yeah, but we lost some high-profile, highly qualified people on our side...
I was hoping my personal hit parade of skeezy (R)s shrank a bit, as well.

It's not that I'm too lazy to look it up myself, I've been off-grid for most of the past year and was hoping that someone had already done it.
