The end of the Republican Party................
http://www.thomhartmann.com:80/blog/2010/11/end-republican-party

Before the election, I heard talk that if the Repubs took over the House along with the Teabaggers, that the in party fighting would lead to the destruction of the GOP. But, does the lack of gumption by the Democratic Party mean the end of the Democratic Party? When will the Dems stand up, step up, and do what it takes to bring the Repubs down?

2. That opportunity to exhibit balls and gumption
was lost when Pelosi took impeachment of the Bush cabal off the table.

Sorry folks - but I will never forgive this example of stereotypical political gutlessness and a travesty against the American people to make some kind of absurd point that Democrats are above defending our Constitution because we'll go along to get along.

It was an opportunity to examine under oath what led to 9-11, Iraq War, Enron raping of California utility customers, the anthrax attacks, spying on Americans, correct the injustices and illegal actions of the Bush regime, and expose the atrocities that were committed against Americans. Instead Party leadership chose to bend over rather than rock the boat. Most importantly it would have served as a major warning to ALL future Presidents (D/R) that they will be accountable and the US Constitution usurps their executive privileges and abuse of Americans.

3. We've been bitten in the ass over and over by this "end of the GOP" nonsense.
The GOP is not going away, folks. Let's reign in the egos and face the fact that we're going to be fighting them for a very long time.
