So Much for the Afterglow: McConnell Doubles Down on "Beating Obama"
Talk about misreading an election. Apparently nobody told Mitch he's still the MINORITY leader of the Senate, and nobody show him a comparison of his approval and the President's, otherwise this speech will sound CRAZY.

2. I hope someone tapes that speech....

or gets a transcript from the speech he actually gives today.

I look forward to quoting what he ends up saying but am hesitant to quote based on what he "intends" to say.

I don't doubt he intends to say it whatsoever though. ;)

Thanks. :hi:

3. Yup
Someone should riddle him this.

If all our Pres is interested in is he re-election then why has he has repeatedly stressed appreciation for those who voted for HCR at the peril of their re-electibility(?) and defined it as prioritizing "good policy over good politics" . . . ?

"Mitch McChinless" is completely clueless of the former.

4. If there is one thing we can take heart in...
it's that Republicans CANNOT and DO NOT learn from their mistakes. Giddy from victory in '94, they proceeded to go nuts and ultimately ended up screwing themselves with the whole government shutdown thing and impeachment. What McClownell is saying indicates they are gonna charge right ahead again.
