1. Does this surprise anyone?
I mean, the guy seems to be a DINO anyway. Now because the Congress was rattled up, he's jumping on the appeasement bandwagon.

I think the American people deserve a real progressive at the head of their Senate. At least, I would want one were I an American.

7. Until he's gone we'll continue to suffer as a party...
He's not going to leave and nobody involved in the incumbent protection racket going on down in DC will even suggest he should leave, but until he's gone we'll suffer greatly and our fortunes will continue to decline.

Please, please, please someone in the Senate challenge this guy for the leadership position. No way can I stand to watch this wimp stand on the Senate floor kissing up to the Republicans for two more years.
