It's all about to come apart.
The elections are done and any legislation out of Washington will be headed to the right. Meanwhile, millions will be losing the last extension of unemployment benefits. If they have homes, they are gone. If they have dreams, they have wilted. If they had hope, it is gone.

They can become drags on their families, they may live in the streets. They can drop through the cracks, and they can disappear.

Or they can oppose, or riot, or turn to crime to feed and care for themselves and their families.

If MY family were homeless and starving no action would be too extreme.

I might in fact become desperate and violent. But I would not just disappear. Watch your newspapers

2. What do you think would happen if everyone's tvs just went 'poof' and disappeared?
That's what it would take to cause people to riot in the streets. It may come to that if enough people can't pay for cable, can't pay for food, lose their homes. What will they do if they can't watch their favorite reality show?

3. This is where people need to start a "so called peasant uprising"
not against the government but against the real cause of the problems evil corporations, like AIG(or what ever they are calling themselves these days), and the other mortgage companies. There are alot of small jobs around like fast food joints and such, and I'm betting that those will all be filled soon.

5. Ah, but we are going to tax-cut the billionaires who will use it to create jobs, jobs, jobs!!!

Unemployed? Call Boner's office and tell him you will be reporting Monday morning for work.

He's had plenty of time to get everything fixed.

10. Well, tell Bawlbaby Boner that you expect the jobs to be BACK from China... by Monday AM.

The Republicans promised jobs, so let's see the jobs and let's see them NOW. No delay will be tolerated. Perform or get out.

(That's the tactic they pursued with Obama.)

8. The Pennsylvania Farmer's Remedy, 1768
"It is the duty of the governed, to endeavour to rectify the mistake, and appease the passion. They have not at first any other right, than to represent their grievances, and to pray for redress, unless an emergence is so pressing, as not to allow time for receiving an answer to their applications which rarely happens. If their applications are disregarded, then that kind of position becomes justifiable, which can be made without breaking the laws, or disturbing the public peace. This consists in the prevention of the oppressors reaping advantage from their oppressions, and not in their punishment. For experience may teach them what reason did not; and harsh methods, cannot be proper, till milder ones have failed.

If at length it become undoubted, that an inveterate resolution is formed to annihilate the liberties of the governed, the English history affords frequent examples of resistance by force. What particular circumstances will in any future case justify such resistance, can never be ascertained till they happen. Perhaps it may be allowable to say, generally, that it never can be justifiable, until the people are FULLY CONVINCED, that any further sub-mission will be destructive to their happiness."

- John Dickinson, The Pennsylvania Farmer's Remedy, 1768.
