Day one in Ohio Fox New's & Gov. Elect John Kasich starts the screw job
What a great idea, Kasich wants public education to be run like a business w/ some privatization
and eliminating local school boards by combining them with other school boards in the
region.

These crazy shits want to kill off public schools .... the idea that @ one time made America the
envy of the world.

BTW he wants to kill a high speed rail system that would bring jobs and progress to Ohio

BTW II he wants to kill off school teachers unions too.

1. The teachers unions will not let that happen
no matter what republicans think the teachers unions are very very powerful and I suspect have had people disappeared before and are probably willing to do it again. And I will never understand why they want to kill high speed trains, perhaps because it doesn't help them so its useless?

13. Strickland did quite a few ads on the topic.
I think it's the only reason the race was as close as it was.

Bottom line, he created some high-quality jobs and had a good vision for Ohio's future economy, but the jobs most people are used to and qualified for are still hemorrhaging out of here. It's hard to think ahead when you're behind on your mortgage.

14. I saw something that happened in Ohio that threw up a red flag...
That creep Mike DeWine is now Attorney General...awful! He really is working his way back to the US Senate...be careful....Sharrod Brown is now in his old seat....which I sense he wants it back. Brown is a Progressive so I keep a watchful eye out on him.

26. DeWHINE can easily be painted with the black mark of a Bewsh Rubberstamp, which he was dutifuly.
I wouldn't worry about Sherrod's seat, since Sherrod acts like a Democrat in the truest sense of the word. Ohio needs a voice for the working class, and DeWHINE ain't it.

15. First thing our new Pennsylvanian Gov wants to do is open PA for fracking.
Thanks a lot to everyone who said there was no difference between Dems and Repubs.
Thanks a lot to everyone who stayed home on the 2nd to "teach Obama a lesson."

I am beyond livid.

There is NO going back on this fracking.
Corbett has six+ years.
All of the job creation (what I think of more as bribing people to pollute themselves and their communities) will be celebrated.
Any politician attempting to rein in this kind of gas extraction will be seen as a job killer, so no one will touch it.

16.  People like John Kasich (Fox News Broadcaster at one time) who worked for Lehman Bros. Sick!
The Repub Tea Party messages have resounded with the American voters. They have duped the voters once again into thinking they are the party that will "be there for them"! It took just a few hate mongers to come up with their propaganda messages that either scared the voters or frustrated them to vote for the very people that did the damage to our economy and put the Fox in the Hen House!

Let's take a look at some of their arguments:

1). Illegal aliens will be transported out of our country (even though these people do a lot of work for this bunch - i.e. Meg Whitman)
2). It is Governments fault that your Health Insurance rates went up - (Again Government tried to put rate control in and failed because of Repub's!)
3.) The "new" Repub's aren't anything like Bush was and will bring jobs, jobs, and more jobs to the people! (Give me a break - they voted down every job initiative in the last 2 years!)
4.) People like John Kasich (Fox News Broadcaster at one time) who worked for one of the biggest, if not THE biggest thief's on Wall Street, Lehman Brothers, won the Governorship of Ohio!
5.) Tax rates for the richest in our country will stay the same - after all it is the "small businesses" who are in this group - Right - Check this article out:

Extension of High-Income Tax Cuts Would Benefit Few Small Businesses; Jobs Tax Credit Would Be Better
By Chuck Marr and Gillian Brunet

August 3, 2010

http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=3251

Proponents of extending President Bush’s 2001 and 2003 tax cuts for people with incomes over $250,000 argue, in part, that allowing them to expire after 2010 would weaken the economy by hurting small businesses. In reality, however, extending the tax cuts would do little for small business because only the top 3 percent of people with any business income, let alone income from a small business, would benefit. Over the long term, an extension would likely harm the economy — and thus small business — by adding about $1 trillion to deficits and debt over the next decade and even larger amounts in subsequent decades. (more at link)

6.) The Repub's are the Party of the People - Oh they forgot to add "their" people - just take a look at the legislative bills they have proposed - it has always went to their "base" as Bush liked to call them. One of my favorite clips from W: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn4daYJzyls

You can add more I am sure on the list - but like I said they really did the job! The Fox is in the Hen House and we now have to accept that they will be doing the same old same old and for me I will have a hard time listening to Boehner with a straight face - how about you? You aren't alone with the tears John..........

18. RE: The high speed rail
I just don't see the need for it here. We have more freight than people that travel the 3c highway and our population is not near as dense as places like chicago.

High speed rail within the city would make more sense - but still not much as the commute time by car would still be less than by train, and people want to spend less time getting to work than more.

27. What cars would it take off the road though?
People on the 3c highway, once they get to the city of their choice, are still going to need to get around once they get there. A 1.5 hour trip by car can turn into a much longer trip and leave you without a way to get around once you get to where you are going.

23. I am going to
begin calling Kasich and asking him where the jobs are after he takes office. I am going to inundate message boards and write letters to the editor of the newspapers asking, "Governor Kasich, where are the jobs?" Over and over and over and over. The only thing the redneck idiots understand in this hellhole that is Ohio are one sentence phrases. So, I will take down the Kasich administration as best I can with this one sentence:

WHERE ARE THE JOBS GOVERNOR KASICH?

24. He was on the BOD of Invacare when they shipped jobs to China and Mexico.
A free-trader and a Wall-Street baron to the core, Ohio workers, just in case you thought he cared about your needs.

Reading about this guy's lack of any solid plan to bring in revenue WHILE attempting to phase out Ohio's income tax AND run the state like a business made me cringe and facepalm repeatedly. Doesn't anyone remember the last time a country or a state was run like a business what happened? Guess this state doesn't like police, firefighters, infrastructure repair, librarians, teachers, schools, parks or progress. If I were a government worker in Ohio, I'd be getting my resume ready.

More on Kasich the Fascist here. Way to go, SLOWhio. Just an absolutely STUPID fucking choice. STUPID fucking choice. Just because my sandwich tastes bad doesn't mean I want to eat a plate of dogshit.

so there's a clear common theme in terms of attacking education!
