Steve King's (R-IA) electrified border fence idea--did he get it from Gorman Seedling, the Michael M...
from Gorman Seedling, the Michael McKean INS Deputy Commissioner character in "Coneheads (1993)"?

Did you see the hilarious Congressional clip Rachel Maddow played about ten minutes into her show tonight? Life underresurgent House Republicans us imitating art in the funniest way possible!

IMO, THIS is the best way to deal with right-wing Congressional kooks for the next two years--let 2012 voters see what absolute buffoons they are.

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION?

1. It pretty dangerous to have an electric fence w/o monitoring it 24/7...
I say they would be expanding government more hiring guards.

2. Danger IMO is the last thing on King's mind--he's appealing to the lowest political
instincts of voters who need issues dumbed-down to the level of Roadrunner cartoons, IMO. They see his scale-model electrified fence and visualize undesirable stereotypes trying to cross the border and bursting into flames.
