I want to believe that "the arc of the moral universe
is long, but it bends toward justice." But tonight I'm not so sure. Tonight my faith in good prevailing over evil is severely shaken.

1. It doesn't. You have to do the hard work of bending it.

2. No, as soon as W/Cheney took power, I knew there was
no such thing. The arc of the moral universe was sold to the highest bidder.

5. Hang In there, rhiannon55!
It is a damn frustrating loss...but it's never over.

Now we can have some fun watching Republicans try to develop a coherent budget resolution to match their campaign/political rhetoric....

7. It does, but that doesn't mean the enemies of moral progress
don't try their damndest to bend back.

Today they have bent back - but this too shall pass.
