As a parent....I did one thing right.........my daughter votes!!!
I feel so lucky that I never had to beg my daughter to vote. She has learned how much her future depends upon who's running this country. Sadly my best friend has paid his son to vote today......for just a mere $300.00 that he came and asked his father for to keep his electric on.
6. i was so excited to vote when i did in my first election i watched the debates and everything.
it was bush/clinton/perot. and i voted for perot because i felt both bush and clinton were talking out of both sides of their mouths. when my kids got home they said, hey mom don't forget to vote.... and i said i already did. went after they got on the bus for school. but i am happy that they reminded me. ashley (5) had a ribbon made out of construction paper that said 'vote' on it.
