There only seems to be an 'anti-incumbent fever', according to the press, when the Democrats have managed to get a solid majority. Never seems to be talked about when the Repugs have a majority. Its almost like the press is so dependent on conflict to fill up the 24 hour news cycle that they will go out of their way to make sure neither side can ever get anything done that would prove their way is 'better'. Keep things in limbo, couch everything in us Vs them view and never, ever give anybody credit (unless you are later going to tear them apart) and don't cover anything in depth so people might get a better understanding of what is really happening.
