Welcome to DU. I've been here since right before the Kerry/shrub election and it has been very educational. Made some good friends around the world and am glad to have this moderated forum available for us.

2. I joined in the 2004 primaries and the swift boat liars had started their

assault on John Kerry. That is the reason for my sn.

3. I joined after the 2004 election. I felt so sorry for the dems that lost and were then baited by

gopers. I joined a mixed board first. But then I couldn't stand direct confrontation with the freepers so I found the DU in early 2005. Thank you.... thank you very much!

8. Not really a "new" DU member

but haven't posted in a while. Life got heavily in the way of my being able to post, tho I did take the time to read once in a while.

I just want to say that this is the best site on the 'net with some of the best and most well-informed posters I have ever had the pleasure to "know" and to tell everybody to take heart, no matter what happens tomorrow, do your part by voting and taking people along with you to vote, if you are a praying person to pray for America, and know that this is all part of the cycle of politics and that if tomorrow brings BIG changes or if we Democrats prevail, we will go on!
