MSNBC's Shame: Keith Olbermann

Keith Olbermann is a dangerous, left-leaning extremist. MSNBC should be petitioned by all here to have Countdown removed from its line-up. After all, Countdown demonstrates to the USA that liberals and progressives can only discuss the issues by the use of testosterone-soaked, invective-laced, spittle-sprayed, fact-voided appeals to emotion, patriotism and authority. It is truly MSNBC's shame.

If only Keith Olbermann could be made to see the beauty of a well-reasoned and rational argument when it fulfills its promise in a civilized, fact-based debate. If only Keith Olbermann could muster the impeccable intellectual honesty that those clever thinkers on the right so frequently evince. If only Keith Olbermann would refuse to fabricate his rants from the purest of fictional assertions which defame the good Republican character of the right. If only Keith Olbermann could emulate the concise, civil and well-considered argument made here.

If only....

Yes, now is the time to stand against all liberal extremists and to restore the civility of the 234-year-old discourse with the right that is the United States of America.

Note on Edit: It is delusional for Democrats and Progressives to think that the civility of the left needs to be restored. Civility is damn near all we use in arguing our various positions. President Obama is all about civility and bipartisanship - just look at what he is facing. In one instance from the Stewart/Colbert Rally, KO's voice announces "right-wing terrorism" amidst the montage of media fear-mongers which includes a few clips of Glenn Beck. If people here think that Stewart and Colbert were right to lump KO in with these others and with Glenn Beck, the above sarcasm should agree with you. If not, you should not like to read it. P.S.
