Does the Post Office attempt "heroic efforts" to deliver all the straggling absentee ballots?
Edited on Mon Nov-01-10 03:04 PM by The Backlash Cometh
Yes, we do have young adults that believe that mailing a letter on Sunday is enough time to get the letter to its proper destination by Tuesday in another state. I'm just wondering if there is any point in hoping that these absentee ballots make it in on time if someone doesn't mail it by Friday before the elections. Anyone know if the mail pick-ups and deliveries increase before an election?

1. They probably go by the postmark. If it's within the time
alloted, it will count even if it is delivered late.

2. The rule posted on their online website is that it must come in by
7 PM on election night.
