Fox & Friends Offended That People Think Stewart/Colbert Are Real 'Newspeople'
Everyone and their mother has been weighing in on this weekend's Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear in D.C. But what do the folks at Fox & Friends think? Gretchen Carlson, Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy were a big target of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's mockery Saturday (as they always are), and seemed just a smidge bitter about it on the show yesterday.

Take Carlson's intro: "There was this big rally, put on by comedians, which many people unfortunately think are newspeople. Jon Stewart and -- what's the other guys's name?" After Kilmeade and Doocy filled in Colbert's name, she said: "Those two had - did they call it the insanity something or another? Oh Restore Sanity! Not insanity (laughs)."

"And he looks fancy in his suit, like he actually is a real newsperson," she added later.

Passive aggressive or just unprepared? You decide.

1. Fox & Friends: Time for an irony haircut.
You guy aren't comedians OR newspeople. "Newspeople" - chew on that one.

2. Fox & Friends are incapable of critical thinking
They need to be told what to think by their corporate overlord masters.

If they can't savor the delicious irony, well too bad then.

5. And this former Miss America thinks SHE'S a newsperson?
She was a sociology major - not a communications major - in school. She got on TV because she's allegedly "pretty" (I don't see it - at all - but that's beauty queenism for ya).

Maybe if Faux would report news rather than make it or spin it, many young people would be able to understand the difference. :eyes:

6. Stewart and Colbert never claimed to be anything but comedians despite the fact that
their viewers ARE better-informed than Fox viewers. Fox & Friends claim to be news people and are neither news people nor comedians, unless you find stupidity funny.

The Fox Nooze team wouldn't recognize news if it bit them in the face.

27. So called news people pretending not to know the news -
like the name of a very popular comedian and the name of an event everyone in the news and elsewhere has been talking about all week.

Cute. Not.

Not that Faux News people would have any idea.

33. Sorry to tell these idiots

Viewers of the John Stewart show are more knowledgable than viewers of Fox....when polling asking about critical, non-divisive issues (like who is third in line in the Presidency), the JS viewers trump the vermin who watch Faux.
