MSNBC: "Tens of thousands join Stewart, Colbert at 'sanity' rally" (per orders from Central Command)
"Tens of Thousands"

And MSNBC has people AT THE RALLY. They were a part of it. They were there. They know how big the crowd was. Their headline today is technically accurate. It is also, clearly, INTENTIONALLY dismissive, intended to downplay the numbers that showed up.

MSNBC tries to play the left leaning foil to Fox. That's their new schtick. But they are worse than Fox. They're sneaky in their right wing slant. They wear a costume. If they were an actual news organization, instead of Entertainment Tonight for political junkies, they'd be reporting the fucking FACTS. Like the crowd size.

"Tens of Thousands" my ass.

4. Wow. I'm shocked he reported that number.
:wow:

I figured he would toe the corporate line and stick with "tens of thousands."

5. Dozens Attend Sanity Rally
Approximately 20833 dozens, but it's still a truthful headline I guess.

Gawd, for-profit media sucks.

12. The media is just pi*sed off. . .
because for the last couple of years, all we have heard from are teabaggers - and the media has pretended that the teabaggers were essentially representing all Americans. There were, in their mantra, few other people with opinions in this country but the teabaggers, and so they decided that is all we are going to hear about. Suddenly, they see a rally many times larger than the teabagger festival, and they don't have a good narrative to explain how it is possible. . .

14. They're not pissed. They're not happy, either. They're just doing what their owners tell them to do

And that includes MSNBC.

edit to add: MSNBC: Worse than Fox because they're sneaky about it.
