We want to be optimistic...

But we have been beaten down by the corporate propaganda. We have been pelted with it for two years straight. It started with 24 hours per day talk radio and worked its way thru our newspapers and thru cable television. We feel over-whelmed.

But we trudge onward. We are told we are marching for nothing. It is a foregone conclusion. Our efforts are wasted. It is already written.

But we hold on to hope and what little faith we have left in the American people? We never got the change we were looking for and many believe it would have been better to get nothing than to compromise as much as we did. Perhaps the people will surprise us with their wisdom?

But one thing is for certain. If the Republicans and Tea Party win on Tuesday, there will be change. Change like we never dreamed about. Change is coming. Although not the change we may have envisioned.
