For instance, Cilizza was on a few minutes ago talking about the Alaska race. He was talking about the repub vote could split between Murkowski and Miller, raising the "spectre" of Scott McAdams.

The Alaska race has gotten quite interesting in the last couple of weeks. As Miller has melted down, his negative ratings have gone up to 68%, and that's even before his latest disclosure on the ethical lapses. Murkowski has suddenly turned her focus on McAdams, trying to paint a vote for McAdams as a vote for Miller, when in reality, McAdams is now ahead of Miller, and just slightly behind Murkowski. If Alaskan Democrats, many of whom have polled for Murkowski, begin turning to McAdams (by the way, is it some kind of state law that your last name has to start with M to run for Senator in Alaska?), he could win rather handily.

Apparently, the concept of non-Republican representation for Alaska scared people like Cilizza.
