The President and the 111th Congress has accomplished a historic change

I would just like to point out that we had huge majorities and we used them. History will look at this period as truly transformative. We can't see it now, because we are close to these events, but there were some big bills...

Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009
Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act of 2009
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act


Those are some huge laws. Did we get everything. No (There is still the lame duck session, BTW).

However, we got alot. We have reshaped American politics forever. This was the most productive two years possible. Thank you to Congress and to the President.
