I am sick and tired of this bullsh*t. I have an idea. Why not ask the public if the heterosexual white male minority, which holds the dominant position in our political, religious, and economic system, will lead to the downfall of America? After all, if you are going to bait fear and hatred of one minority group of American citizens, why not do the same for that group?

Aren't they the ones responsible for the majority of child molestations, the state of the economy, the neverending wars, the corruption in government?

Oh yeah. . .watch the video. This is a classic bait-and-hate hit piece. And of course, this entire "issue" was manufactured based on the notion that Obama has appointed more openly gay/lesbian. . .and omg...ONE transgender person to positions in the government.

2. Gosh ...

Acceptance of the GOP, Plutocracy and even fundamentalism has done a great job at bringing this country to the brink of collapse already. We are already in the tailspin with nothing but the fast approaching ground to contemplate on the way down, all things considered.

So, of course we are going to see more and more divisive, distracting bullshit to feed the gaping craws of those who want to console themselves with blame and scapegoating, (which is, historically, the trend in chaotic times). Divide and conquer is an important power-tool for maintaining power. You can notice this when listening to people who think the poor are behind their financial situation and mouth-off rote resentment and blame for the most destitute amongst us as if that will quell their fears of ending-up in poverty the way things are going. FSM forbid they see that they too are merely manipulated fodder in a Global Class-war that is reaching its pinnacle of victory for the deadbeat rich who sit, like a clod of perfumed manure at the peak of systemic collapse.

So, if that ridiculous and leading question were re-phrased to reflect the truth, then it could be a valid point. Sexual orientation has little, if nothing, to do with the sorry state we are in. Tolerance is the issue that stands out as necessary for our sustainable continuity and survival as a species. We will either band-together for the mutually-inclusive and necessary goal of community as survival and diversity as value, or ride the collective train of doom into the granite wall just ahead. So, intolerance is counter-productive across-the-board and will certainly contribute to how severe and even fatal our transition through this downfall-in-progress will turnout.

...the uptight, ignorant, white-bread, bigoted, mean-spirited, evangelical, racist, misogynist, xenophobic version of America they accept as the real America; then yeah, accepting anything different will end it. And not a moment too soon.
