The Global View of the Tea Party
By MICHAEL D. SHEAR

The midterm elections are at a fever pitch, and the loud rhetoric – especially from Tea Party candidates — is reaching across the globe.

In an interesting review of foreign news sources, Foreign Policy Magazine documents some of the conclusions that are being drawn about America from an arms-length view of the clash of political campaigns.

will be horrified by the poverty, brutality, and ignorance, and realize that what was once the wealthiest, more powerful, and in many ways the freest country in the world has become a 3rd world nation
