Throwing Out the Baby With the Bath Water

You know, it's been quite a day. This morning I attempted to try to figure out, how much money is being spent on this "election" and what better uses I could come up with for that money. Well I hardly got through the Senate and House before I gave up and just did a nice low estimate. The low end... 5 billion. Yes that is my low end estimate and it could be twice that much. The total for 2008 was 5.8 billion. And we didn't have the Citizens United ruling then.

Billions worth of lies and bullshit.. Fucking assholes.

So I came up with the estimate and surfed over to DU.

Xenophobia
Homophobia
Men beating up defenseless women
Psycho Candidates actually making a race of it.
In my state Xenophobic Candidate Tom Tancredo is actually gaining and this fucking lawyer Ken Buck who let a confessed rapist go because he thought the woman had "buyers remorse" is actually within a couple of points.

You know, maybe it's just the day and the mood I'm in but I'm ready to give up. I swear if any of these lunatics win, O'Donnel, Buck, Angle, Miller, Tancredo, Whitman etc, etc, then I will be ready and willing to not only throw out the baby with the bath water, but I'll be ready to chuck the tub, the bathroom, the house that surrounds it, the neighborhood, the state and the whole fucking country. A crazy experiment gone awry. Then again tomorrow I might feel better.
