Latest Poll Shows Boxer Leading Fiorina by 5 Points
Latest Poll Shows Boxer Leading Fiorina by 5 Points

As usual, it's a tight race when it comes to polls between Democratic U.S. Senate incumbent Barbara Boxer and former Republican and Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina. The latest poll from the Public Policy Institute of California (see results for the gubernatorial race and Prop 19) shows Boxer at 43% and Fiorina at 38%, with 17% undecided. The margin of error is up to 3.5%.

Previous PPIC polls showed an even tighter race, but always with Boxer ahead. In September, she led Fiorina by 7 points (42% to 35%) and by 5 points in July (39% to 34%).

2. Sorry, but it's not even that close.
I don't know a single Fiorina supporter who isn't one of the "usual suspects".

3. At least in CA the tea party brand is being rejected.
Both Meg and Carly represent the job outsourcing, social security killing, Medicare cutting, middle class shrinking right wing nut jobs and we don't want them in power.

5. It's still too close for comfort.
With the inexperience other baggage that come along with Whitman/Fiorina, it should be a landslide.

9. The surges ahead for Boxer and Brown are because people
are paying attention now. Not everyone is addicted to politics like we are.
