By 2012 Repubs Will Be Burned at the Stake!
....IF Obama uses his brain. (I've had to admit to MYSELF that repukes are going to get the House and the posibility (but not probability)that they will take the Senate, too.) Obama's job for the next two years is to OBSRUCT them and not cave to them--(which, sadly, I think he will do). The economy probably won't be going anywhere by then and the public will form a circular firing squad and blame everyone including the new majority. There will be as much panic on the part of repukes as dems. BUT the big, deciding issue will be senior citizens seeing the repukes going after SS and Medicare (so keep your damn panel's mouth shut for two years, Obama); and they will go wild and batshit crazy with panic. And THEY will be the ones getting the bonfires ready and roaring. It won't be a year of "getting the youth" out to vote; it will be a year of psycho-grandma storming the voting booths and the repukes will finally be put into decades of being a minority party. (Don't know if I have matches around here 'cause I stopped smoking years ago and hopefully no one will put me in "the home" between now and then...........)

5. I agree. If the repukes even mention impeachment,
President Obama should put Paul Wolfowitz and Donald Rumsfeld under arrest. The repukes will cave because they don't want Dickhead and the Chimp to be next...

4. They want his ass and will stop at nothing.
He has been way too nice to them. As in "You knew I was a scorpion"

6. Why wait? Do it now and avoid the rush!
I swear, the inventory for my proposed business (Pitchforks-R-Us™ ) gets more extensive each time I come here. Now I'm gonna have to carry stakes, too. Ah, well. The customer is always right (or, in this case, left).

7. If they take the House, Obama's job will be to fight impeachment...
against a constant stream of water this and water that.

Far easier to GOTV and make Republicans lose.

Because if they win in November, we can not predict what will happen in 2012.

After all, in November of 2008, people on this site were predicting the Republican party would collapse like the Whigs and that we were on the road to Progressive heaven.

8. Ozy-I'm one who didn't
I've been around tooooo long and just shook my head when all these pundits were yacking about the destruction of the Repukes and will it be there permanent end, etc. The repubs have way too much money and power in their pockets. They had been naughty, got caught and said "let's destroy the Black guy 'cause our supporters ARE the Southern Strategy". Hell, they were back up and kicking our ass in no time. And we were just "polite" or telling liberals that they are assholes, etc. AND HERE WE ARE---AND THERE WE GO! The panic is now in the elderly as they dunk their tea bags. And uncontrolled panic will be with the elderly as they watch the repukes try to rip their goodies out of their cold, dead hands. They are going to go insane come 2012.

9. I didn't, either. I knew the pubs would come out of the woodwork
all invigorated by the prospect of destroying the black guy. They knew it would be easy to rile up all the people who insist they are not racist.

Mark my word, the pubs aren't going to get blamed for trying to destroy Social Security -- they'll just shove and bully and con Obama's commission to do the dirty work for them, and voila, mission accomplished. Granny starves, and it's the dem's fault.
